Sarah Maxey, MD, graduated with her Bachelor of Science in cell and molecular biology in 2015 at Texas Tech University. She earned her medical degree at McGovern Medical School at UT Health Houston in 2019. Dr. Maxey then completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Houston Methodist Hospital prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in September 2023. She was inspired to practice medicine by a family friend who is a medical oncologist. Striving to build relationships with her patients, Dr. Maxey cares for patients in all stages of pregnancy, provides well woman exams, and treats gynecologic issues. She has a particular interest in pregnancy, contraception, abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, pelvic pain, and ovarian cysts.
